Montgomery, AL – Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM) is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated 2nd Annual MGM 5K on Saturday, October 12, at 7:30 am. This one-of-a-kind event invites runners and walkers to experience the excitement of racing at an airport while supporting local charities.
The MGM 5K allows participants to witness the airport differently. Whether you are a seasoned runner or simply looking for a fun family outing, this event promises a memorable experience for everyone involved. Runners of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to register early, as spots are limited.
“We are excited to once again open up Montgomery Regional Airport for this incredible community event,” said Wade A. Davis, Executive Director of Montgomery Regional Airport. “This race is not just about running; it’s about bringing our community together, raising awareness for local charities, and showcasing the continued growth and importance of MGM as an economic driver in the region.”
The event will benefit the River Region United Way and proceeds from the race will directly support these organizations.
