Montgomery, AL – The holiday season is just around the corner, and Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM) is ready to celebrate in festive style with the first annual Community of Christmas Trees event. Local schools and non-profit organizations are invited to decorate their own Christmas trees to be displayed in the airport terminal, spreading cheer to travelers and staff alike.
This event is a unique way for the community to come together and showcase its creativity. Participating groups will compete for prizes and the chance to earn well-deserved bragging rights in categories such as “Most Creative,” “Best Holiday Spirit,” and “Community Favorite.”
Decorated trees will be on display from December through New Year’s Day, creating a magical and festive atmosphere for thousands of visitors to enjoy. Travelers will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite trees, adding an exciting interactive element to the event.
