Delta Air Lines Reactivates More Capacity at MGM
Additional Seats Are Now Available
(Montgomery, AL) – Delta Air Lines will be reactivating more capacity at the Montgomery
Regional Airport (MGM) in the month ahead.
The airline began the month of April with larger aircraft servicing MGM. This means more seats
for travelers on Delta’s four daily flights between Montgomery and Atlanta, Georgia.
With each day, the aviation industry moves closer to its normal, pre-COVID passenger counts.
While masks are still required on all flights, the increasing numbers of fully vaccinated consumers
continues to improve forecasts for summer months.
Delta recently confirmed the return of passenger assignments to middle seats, effective May 1.
Company leadership has also announced that its increased cleaning and sanitization protocols will
become permanent.
MGM will also continue to implement enhanced terminal safety measures, including continuous
cleaning and the requirement for staff, travelers and airport visitors to wear masks at all times.
MGM is committed to delivering a world-class customer experience. Montgomery Regional Airport
offers non-stop flights to Atlanta, Georgia (ATL); Charlotte, North Carolina (CLT); and Dallas, Texas
(DFW). MGM currently serves the region with four daily flights by American and five daily flights by
Delta. For more information on the airport, visit flymgm.com.
