The first 75 customers to purchase two or more tickets for travel from MGM to DCA on American Airlines on or before October 31, 2024, could be eligible for reimbursement for one of those tickets and parking.

Please note that the reimbursement will be issued by the Montgomery Airport Authority (the Authority), not by American Airlines. Reimbursement will only be issued after travel has taken place and required documentation has been received (see Submitting Your Request for Reimbursement (2-Step Process).   

How It Works

  • This promotion applies to the first 75 customers who purchase two or more tickets on American Airlines from MGM to DCA during the same transaction. It requires proof of purchase and proof of travel documentation related to travel from Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM) from June 1, 2024, to October 31, 2024,
  • Ticket purchases or travel completed prior to June 1, 2024, are excluded from this promotion.
  • Reimbursement by the Authority is for the cost of one of two (or more) flights only and does not include: change fees, upgrades, flex plan, seat assignments, bags, taxes, or other fees. If two or more outbound tickets purchased vary in price, the lowest priced ticket will be reimbursed.
  • Reimbursement will only be made to the person identified as the purchaser of the airfare. Only the person who purchased the tickets is eligible for this promotion.
  • Recipients of reimbursements must be American citizens aged 18 or older, with each reimbursement to be issued by check.
  • The Authority is not liable for reimbursements if an outgoing flight is cancelled, regardless of the reason for the cancellation. This promotion is capped at 75 reimbursements, at which time the promotion will end. The Authority is not liable for reimbursements if proof of travel is not received by October 31, 2024.IMPORTANT: Proof of purchase (i.e., transaction receipt and flight schedule) and proof of travel (i.e., boarding pass of the purchaser) documentation should be legibly scanned or photographed and submitted to promotions@flymgm.com.

Submitting Your Request for Reimbursement (2-Step Process)

To qualify, customers must submit legibly scanned or photographed proof of purchase for two or more tickets departing from MGM to DCA (Step 1, to be completed ASAP after booking the flights) followed by legibly scanned or photographed proof of the boarding pass of the person who purchased the tickets (Step 2, ASAP after travel has occurred).

Immediately, after booking tickets, submit your proof of purchase by email, mail, or in person (see previous section, How It Works, for contact information). Proof of purchase consists of a legible scan or photograph of your transaction receipt and flight information. (Note: The Authority assumes no liability for incomplete or illegible submissions.)

Please note that customers will be listed in the order in which proof of purchase documentation was received, as verified by the date and time in the email or fax transmission or by date stamp if you submitted by mail or in person. Speedy submission of information is imperative for inclusion on the reimbursement list.  Once the documentation of the ticket purchases is received, the ticket purchaser will be entered into the database for reimbursement until the 75 reimbursed outbound ticket limit is reached.

In addition to proof of purchase documentation, you will also need to submit the following information whether by email, mail, or deliver your submission in person:

  • Subject line: MGM DCA Promotion
  • Your full name (as it will appear on your reimbursement check)
  • Your mailing address (including zip code or postal code)
  • Your telephone number (including area code)

ASAP after you travel on an outbound flight from MGM to DCA on or before October 31st, you will need to provide us with a legible scan or photograph of your outbound boarding pass—even if your ticket was not the lowest priced ticket. Only the person who purchased the tickets can receive the reimbursement. Please submit by email, fax, mail or in person so that we can confirm proof of travel (see previous section,
